Pangaea Interior Design wasn't sure how create the panorama shots.
I'll try to give my simple explination here.
My camera is a FujiFilm FinePixS8000fd. This was purchased because of the wide angle lens and the great room shots I could take. These worked out so well on the mls.
To create a panorama shot: stand in a section of the room (preferred entry way to room) where you can easily turn and see the whole room.
Take a photo as far left as you can of that room. This is the trick. The next shot is to the right and this photo need to over lap the previous one by about 1/3 . I like to overlap a picture frame or a lamp --- something that is straight vertically.
Slowly turn your body, or use a tripod, and take pictures of the whole room.
Use a program like Photoshop, the version of photoshop elements that I have won't work, to knit the photos together.
The program, that I'm working with now is Autostitch, is working real well. I'm still using the trial program.
Don't want to spend my money on a new program until I know which one that I like the best.

The difference between turning my camera sideways is that I can get the ceiling and the floor in the photos.
