Providing Services to Prepare the Home for Sale

I'm really serious. The last month and a half disappeared.   I like being busy but this has been a little crazy.

In October I took a 'vacation' to visit my neice and her kids in Washington.  They are 17 months and 3 years.  OMG,that's why they give babies to the young.  Diapers, potty training, baby sitting while my neice could get out for awhile, birthday party and 5 meals a day.   This was a vacation?  It really was great and I'll wait another 3 years before attempting it again OR at least until the little one is potty trained.

While I was there my husband called to tell me that I had some communications in the mail from an attorney that I'm working with in Florida.  He's handling my uncle's estate.  This was to tell me that I needed to be in Florida the day beforeI was scheduled to get back from Washington.  

This of course this meant flying home early so I could fly to Florida.  This was nuts too because I was using frequent flier miles and the airlines are not easy with this sort of stuff.  I also went on vacation without my "meeting an attorney" clothes.

My pet pieve about this attorney is that he WON'T  email me documents. He snail mailed the documents to me so I rec'd them late. NO LITTLE EMAIL along the way telling me about it.  NO phone call either. I was so stressed out.

This trip was 4 days of meetings and depositions.

Being gone for two weeks means there is a lot of stuff to catch up on when returning.  I filled two waste baskets with trash mail. 

I made a big mistake thinking that since I would be gone that this would be a good time for my teckie to format my computer.  He could take his time doing it and loading wall the programs and updates back in.

 Wrong idea, do you know how long it takes to process two weeks of emails and set up all the Outlook Rules for the folders?

Way too long --- is the answer.

Then I had to get ready for the Stagers Roundtable.

Now it's November and I want to get ready for the holidays and I land a Estate to clear out, have and Esate Sale and hopefully stage.  The staging depends on how successful the Estate Sale is. The sale will be the first weekend of December when hopefully the Christmas shoppers will be out.   I've found Remingtons and other bronze sculptures.  FOUND, is the key word here.

40 years of treasures is a lot to go thru and process so finding is the right word.   We have over 200 dolls and other collections that have been set aside and forgetten as the owners became older and ill.

This week I've been called to quote three other estates. These referrals are coming from an attorney that I haven't met.
