Michigan's Staging Roundtable is this week At IKEA in Canton

It's been fun and challenging to be in on this begining process of such and exciting meeeting There was a meeting last year and I appreciate what was done and the information that was passed onto me.
The person who runs it next year, and I hope that it's me, will have an easier time of it. Next year I'll be able to train the person coming in for 2010.
This past week, with the help of Marianne Sweet, we've set up a Google account. Our account is set up with the names of everyone that we emailed and the beauty is that this information doesn't reside on my computer. It's there for Marianne to work on with me. She can add additonal names of stagers and so can I without emailing them back and forth to each other.
We have two groups set up within the database. One is Michigan Stagers and the other is for the 2008 attendees. It's easy to see what the percentage of Stagers are attending.
It's residing on google for the all the following presenters. From my past experience I've noticed that committees re-invent the wheel every year. It's difficult to get the outgoing person together with the incoming person. We are all so busy that it's hard to schedule a passing of the information meeting esp when we can be living so far apart.
Google docs will hold the attachments that we sent out with the emails. They can easily be edited by the next person. These attachments are the agenda and the questions that will be asked at the roundtable.
The excel sheet of attendees is in the there with those who will be attending the 9 am tour and the 9 30 networking time.
All the documents that I rec'd from RESA with my extra notes will be available to review.

I look forward to posting our results of the meeting and look forward to reviewing the results of other members who hosted their meetings this year.
